Penentuan Interval Perawatan Mesin Pompa Air Menggunakan Metode Age Replacement dan Modularity Design di PT XYZ

Abstract


PT XYZ currently applies breakdown maintenance to its Gould water pump, resulting in high downtime and substantial maintenance costs. This study integrates the Age Replacement method with Modularity Design to determine the optimal replacement intervals for critical components and reduce overall costs. Failure data from January to December 2023 were analyzed using the Weibull distribution. The results indicate optimal preventive replacement intervals of 25,000 minutes for the motor, 25,500 minutes for the pump, and 70,000 minutes for the seal. The proposed annual maintenance cost is Rp556,735,496.86, lower than the company’s current cost of Rp679,412,892, yielding a cost saving of approximately 18.06%. This integrated approach improves machine reliability and maintenance efficiency in the clean water distribution system.
