Exploring the Impact of Digital Leadership Transformation on Employee Engagement and Employee Performance

Abstract


This case study explores the impact of digital leadership transformation on Employee Engagement within a digital Aquaculture company in Indonesia. Amid the increasing adoption of digital technologies in the culinary industry, effective digital leadership is critical to drive organizational change and enhance employee morale. The research provides a comprehensive understanding of how digital leadership transformation influences job satisfaction, engagement, and overall workplace morale in Indonesia. Methods in this research Employing path analysis to explore the relationships between digital leadership practices and Employee Engagement, the research draws on data collected from a sample of 125 respondents as a employee at Aquaculture company, to assess the influence of digital leadership practices on job satisfaction, engagement, and workplace dynamics. The findings reveal that successful digital leadership transformation, characterized by strategic use of digital tools and inclusive leadership practices, leads to higher levels of Employee Engagement. The study offers practical recommendations for Indonesian organizations seeking to enhance Employee Engagement through digital leadership, emphasizing the importance of continuous professional development, adaptability, and fostering a supportive digital work environment. The study provides actionable insights for Aquaculture company and similar organizations in Indonesia, offering recommendations to leverage digital leadership for enhancing Employee Engagement, fostering a positive work environment, and ultimately improving organizational performance.
