Ketangguhan dan Kesejahteraan Ibu Bekerja: Studi terkait Resiliensi dan Psychological Well-Being Ibu Bekerja Pelaku UMKM

Abstract


The challenges of working mothers are greater as they must pay attention to the sustainability of the business to be productive, especially in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector, where all successes and failures depend on the efforts of working mothers themselves and must also pay attention to the welfare of their families. The success of improving the family economy through MSMEs is both a challenge and an obstacle for mothers in maintaining their psychological well-being as individuals. This need makes psychological factors in the form of resilience and psychological well-being an important factor for their survival. This study was conducted towards 351 working mothers who own MSMEs in Bandung City, West Java, which is listed as one of the provincial capitals with the highest number of MSME players in Indonesia. The sampling technique was based on a cluster sample to ensure the representativeness of the number of respondents. The study results show that there is a correlation between resilience and psychological being. Demographic factors also affect the condition of resilience and psychological well-being of working mothers of MSME actors. This shows that developing the resilience of working mothers of MSME actors will help improve the psychological well-being of working mothers.
